Safari has a bug for Windows users. Even as an Apple fan I must let you know this. Safari does not require authorization to download a file. If you visit a web site that has some code that downloads a file it will go unnoticed. Safari downloads files to the desktop and does not require authorization before doing so. Once the file is downloaded it can start its self and kill your computer. Apple has not acknowledged this problem, while Windows has. This is both a problem with Windows opening files automatically and Safari not requiring user authorization. Microsoft has said they might come up with a patch to require user password before downloading files. Apple has not said anything, but is more than likely working on a fix. In the meantime you should reframe from using Safari until a patch is supplied. I will let you know when a fix is found. For now I would suggest using Firefox.
