This is a really good program that lets you take pictures of your screen. But thats not all it does. It also makes it into a link which then you can post anywhere, and then when they click the link they see the picture that you took of your screen. Its also a good alternative to screen sharing. If you don’t trust people using your computer, grabup is also a good alternative. Its available for the Mac only. You can download GrabUp here: http://www.grabup.com/. GrabUp doesn’t really have a UI, it is located in the Menu bar at the top of your screen. To get ready or to turn on Picture mode, which enables you to take pictures, just press Command + Shift + 4 at the same time. Then you should see a little cross-like thing as your pointer. Then you click and drag until the end of where you want the picture to end. Then, just let go, and if your sound is on, it should sound like a snapshot. Then you wait about a minute for the picture to process. After that, you go to the menu bar and you click on the icon which looks like a rug. you click that, then click recent images, then your picture will be there, with the date and time the picture was taken as the title. Click on it, and it should bring you to a website which should start as www.grabup.com/etc. You will see your picture there. Now, like any other app, there are some negatives to GrabUp. 1. Its a ram Hogger. If you are doing stuff AND Grabup on a Gig of RAM, Your computer will be slow. (GRABUP RATING: 9.5/10)
