I recently had a discussion with my boss about implementing a Green IT curriculum at our institution. Being an extremely knowledgeable and logical thinking boss our discussion diverted to acceptance of “greening” and the perception of decision makers. It dawned on me that the term green implied protest. Somehow it seemed to bring back memories of the Green Peace protest group of the early seventies.
