STORY: Blind since he was 2 years old, Mohammed Mustkeem has a nack for repairing electronic gadgets. [Mohammad Mustkeem, Blind Mechanic]: “When I was in school, I developed an interest in electronics like radios and music systems. Whenever I came home from school, I would start playing with radios and other electronics. Initially I was not very good at repairing them, but slowly I learned the art.” Mustkeem always believed that if God has sent him into this world without eyes, He would also bless him with some skill. He learned how to do repair gagets through sheer perseverance. [Inayatullah, Father]: “He was two years old when he lost his sight. But he never lost hope and courage. Taking up this profession, he can repair stabilizers, chargers and many things now. He is the one who takes care of everything.” Mustkeem’s family also gets support from the government so that they can live a better life.
