This is more than just an iPod.
It’s, as Apple advertised, almost like a handheld computer. Web, music, and access to all the stuff in the app store. I can perform most of the tasks I regularly performed on my laptop well enough on this iPod touch 32GB.
Pros:
-Storage capacity — 32 GB is A LOT.
-Web browsing through wi fi… is that typical for an MP3 player? It’s also very fast and uses a compact version of Safari, the most easy to use and stable Web browser I’ve ever used.
-Touch screen
-Access to iTunes and the app store
-Very thin and light, especially for it’s capabilities.
-Built in speaker
Cons:
-Touch screen can be a little too responsive at times.
-Not compatible with anything Windows — I had to take a couple hours out of my day switching all my music on WMP to iTunes. Heck, Media Player didn’t even RECOGNIZE my iPod.
-Unlike my old Sansa, my iPod touch 32GB does not charge when my laptop is sleeping (aka CLOSED)… not THAT much of an annoyance but a little troublesome.
-The first day I got it I reset my wifi network due to a few issues and I needed to reset my network again and switch to another one and back on my iPod to get it to work right (on the iPod) again.
-Sound quality on the speaker on high volume is less than impressive, but to me it’s impressive it has a speaker built in at all, so it’s not really that much of a con.
Overall, very satisfied with my new iPod touch 32GB.
