Apple WILL give the itouch gps capability. Apple purposely launches products that are crippled so that they can come up with new models adding a new feature each time so that the owners of the previous itouch or ipad or iphone will buy another one. Apple is a company of fucking crooks. FUCK YOU STEVE CRIMINAL JOBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very cool. By why the f**k don’t Apple just give the ipod touch GPS capability?! The iphone has it the ipad is available with it. I don’t want an iphone ….. well, I wouldn’t mind an iphone but I don’t want an expensive phone contract. I don’t want an ipad because its to big for the back pack (when I got cycling). The ipod touch would be ideal – if Apple had not of handicapped it in order to promote their other products. Oh well. NO SALE for Apple to me. I’d buy an ipod touch tomorrow with GPS

if you don’t have it attached, the app would not matter because it is an iPod Touch, not an iPhone, so it does not have GPS. It is a GPS device to attach, and a GPS app to download.

Clearly its not an app, its a device you attach to your ipod touch, then with it attached you DL the app for free. Meaning, unless you have this thing attached to your ipod, you wont be able to get the app.
