Telenet more than doubles mobile customers in first-quarter
MECHELEN, Belgium (Reuters) – Belgian cable operator Telenet's increased revenue by 11 percent in the first quarter as it more than doubled its mobile phone subscribers from a year earlier, it said on Thursday. The group, which offers cable TV, Internet and telephony to customers in the Dutch-speaking north of Belgium, made 405.6 million euros ($527.1 million) in revenues in the first quarter. That was broadly in line with 407 million euros expected on average by six banks and brokerages polled by Reuters. …
