New Android apps worth downloading: Foursquare and Yahoo! Sports updates, Despicable Me: Minion Rush

We’ve got a pair of updates leading the charge on today’s apps worth downloading list. First is an update to Foursquare, the social location app, which makes its search function even more functional. Also on the list is Yahoo! Sports, which was formerly known as Sportacular and has received a big update to bring users even more sports information and news. Finally, Despicable Me: Minion Rush brings some new ideas to the runner genre to tie in with the new Despicable Me film.

New Android apps worth downloading: Facebook Home and Fruit Ninja updates, Celtic Tribes

New Android apps worth downloading: BBC Weather, The Tapping Dead, Indiana Stone

Today’s batch of apps starts out with an all new weather app, brought to us by the BBC. You can check out the weather with this slick new forecaster, and if it happens to be a rainy day, you can stay in and play The Tapping Dead, a one button puzzle platformer with zombies. A whole lot of zombies. Or, you could play as a vengeance seeking boulder in Indiana Stone, a clever role reversal on a few classic tropes, including endless runner gameplay.

New Android apps worth downloading: Warmly, Split Camera, One Tap Hero

When you got out of bed today, was it to a blaring, piercing alarm clock? I’d guess the answer is yes, which is why it might be worth downloading Warmly, a friendlier alternative alarm clock app. Today also brings us Split Camera, a new app for creating simple and colorful photo collages. One Tap Hero is a great new one button game that anyone can play, but it manages to still be challenging and satisfying.
